I like the ordinary ascorbic acid + alpha Arbutin for Vitamin c!! I also have super sensitive skin. I haven’t used any of the others but have heard good things abt the Paula’s choice & I use & like some of their other products!
Just curious if this is normal? This morning I used Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% after splashing my face with some water, patting dry. Then after I spritzed with rose water and went in with GC hyaluronic acid. Finished with elf Holy Hydration cream and SPF. My face feels tight and dry today, it has to be the vitamin C right? I’ve tried both for melasma as well. I found the ascorbic acid one to feel greasy, and it gave me closed comedones (white bumps that went away quickly but I was tempted to scratch them off) I love the AA+HA one, feels like nothing on and no issues using it or mixing it with other products or makeup. On my third bottle so far. It can also be used to even out a generally blotchy skin tone, versus targeting specific spots. If you have sensitive skin, there's more good news: Alpha arbutin is relatively well-tolerated, compared to other powerful ingredients such as acids and peels, which may cause irritation and dryness, points out Dr. Chang. [Product Question] TO Alpha-arbutin turned orange-y I bought the TO alpha-arbutin serum a few months ago from ulta to stock up. It looked fine 2-3 ago but when I just looked at it, it definitely had a slight orange tint (almost like the TO glycolic color).

Datglowskin Serum Brightening.
